Objectives of DESH Polytechnic College (DPC)
The primary objective of DESH Polytechnic College (DPC) is to contribute effectively to the development of skilled human resources, creation of employment opportunities, and the socio-economic development of disadvantaged and marginalized communities.
To achieve this goal, the key objectives of DPC are as follows:
1. Skills Development & Employment Creation
To provide demand-driven skills training to at least 10,000 unskilled young men and women by 2030, enabling them to access better employment and income-generating opportunities.
2. Employment & Self-Employment Opportunities
To connect more than 5,000 trained and skilled individuals with employment or self-employment opportunities by 2026 through quality training and effective job placement linkages.
3. Expansion of Infrastructure & Training Facilities
To strengthen and expand DPC's infrastructure, training facilities, laboratories, workshops, and essential equipment to effectively conduct short-term training courses and Diploma in Engineering programs.
4. Improving the Quality of Technical Education
To improve the quality of Diploma in Engineering education through curriculum development, practical training, and stronger collaboration with industries, while producing skilled mid-level technical professionals.
5. Increasing Public Awareness & Community Engagement
To increase public awareness of DPC's education and training programs and expand their reach through strategic communication, promotional activities, and effective community engagement initiatives.
6. Expanding Inclusive & Market-Oriented Training
To expand inclusive, demand-driven, and market-oriented education and training programs for young people while ensuring equal access and participation for disadvantaged and marginalized communities.
